John joined Investors Group in 1983 after four years with a major Canadian bank.
During that time, John has been a Division Director, Regional Director and returned to the Consultant role in 1995.
He earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation from the Canadian Institute of Financial Planning in 1995. In June 2002, he earned the Certified Divorce Specialist designation from the College for Divorce Specialists (Colorado, USA). His primary focus lies in Retirement Tax and Estate Planning.
John qualified for Investors Group President’s Club eight times from 1999 – 2009*
John was born and raised in Peterborough, where he lives with his wife Andrea and their four children.

Barb joined John’s Team at Investors Group in 2000 as an Administrative Assistant. She received the Elder Planning designation from Canadian Institute for Elder Planning Studies in 2008 and has since become John’s Associate Consultant. Barb was born in Vancouver, BC and moved to Ontario in 1985 when her husband Jeff transferred to Toronto Hydro.
Barb and Jeff live in Peterborough and have two children.

Tammy joined John’s team at Investors Group in December 2008 as an Administrative Assistant. She has worked in the financial industry since 1992 in many capacities, Customer Service, Administration, Consultant Licensing to name a few.
Tammy was born in Lindsay and raised in Bethany. She and her husband Stephen live in Janetville and have one child.
